Camp Details and FAQ's

June 8-12, 2020 — Monday – Friday

Two Camp Options: AM or Full Day.

AM CAMP   //  9am – 12pm

  • Bring a peanut-free snack and water bottle each day.

FULL DAY CAMP  //  9am – 4pm 

  • Bring a sack lunch, peanut-free snacks and water bottle each day.
  • Free lunch supervision is provided for full day campers from 12pm-1pm.
  • For full day campers, the afternoon is less structured. Campers will spend time in a fun, relaxed social setting. There will be a fun variety of Harry Potter stations for campers to participate in each afternoon. Campers will also get to watch the movies, work on challenges and practice skills to earn their House points!

The 2020 camps will continue to run in Highlands Ranch and Parker.

(2019 camp locations were Mountain Ridge Middle School and PACE Center. 2020 locations TBA.)

As a safety precaution, parents or authorized adults must sign in and sign out their child each day, no exceptions.

AM drop-off begins at 8:50am.

Please be on time to pick up your child. Because of the amount of preparation needed to run camp each day, there is an additional fee for students who are not picked up on time. 

If you will drop off late or pick up early, please email us so we can make note of it in the master schedule. Counselors cannot be responsible for individual camper schedules.

Camp is run by pop! arts. We offer year-round programs and an exciting summer camp program for up to age 12. The Harry Potter Summer Camp website is for information and registration purposes, and you are welcome to reach us on this website or at the pop! arts website here.

This is our fifth year of Harry Potter camps! We offer multiple Harry Potter camps each summer, as well as Harry Potter Magical Holiday Camp every winter.

Of course! Many kids come to camp wearing their robes and/or other HP gear, and we love it!

As much as we love seeing campers show their wands and toys, we recommend keeping them at home. Accidents happen, and items get broken or lost. Every camper will be creating a wand at camp, and we will use this wand all week.

Campers can bring extra money to purchase snacks at camp. There will be concessions with snacks, treats, drinks and Harry Potter themed food. Please limit the amount of money you send each day as we cannot be responsible if it is lost or stolen.

We are a peanut-free camp, but some food items are processed in a plant that processes nuts. If your child has dietary restrictions, please be sure to indicate it on the registration form. We will reach out to you before camp to discuss possible alternatives. Typically, parents bring in special ingredients as a substitute. Sometimes campers will create a food item he/she can’t eat and take it home to a family member or friend. We will make adjustments to recipes and work with parents on making necessary accommodations for campers.

Yes! We have campers with varying knowledge levels of Harry Potter, from no knowledge to the complete Harry Potter fan. Teamwork, art, science, DIY snacks/treats, games, challenges, scavenger hunts…Camp activities are fun and keep our campers active. Prior HP knowledge is not required to attend camp, but we recommend using camp as a way to promote reading!

Two different camps – many different activities! This camp will focus more on the first book, and we have some very fun plans to bring the book to life, including amazing science experiments, potions+ and an in-depth study of magical creatures with REAL animals. It will be a one-of-a-kind experience! That said, our other Harry Potter camps are amazing and sell out each year with a waiting list. Even these camps change… We create our own curriculum and update our camps with new and exciting activities every single year. We love our return campers and families!

No, t-shirts must be preordered. Over 90% purchased a House tee, but it is optional.

We will offer HP camps next year, but not the same camp. Every year is different.

Send written cancellation no later than May 13. Please email your notice so it is in our system and you have a record of it.

A full refund minus the $50 nonrefundable deposit will be issued back to your card, or you can choose a full pop! arts credit to use at a future date. Credits are valid for one year from date of issue. We respond to every cancellation notice, so if, for some reason, you don’t hear from us by the 13th, we did not receive your request. Please call us no later than May 13 so we can look into it. As you may have noticed, May 13 has been mentioned multiple times. This is the absolute last day to submit cancellation and receive confirmation. We abide by a no refund policy starting May 14. Please plan accordingly.
